Albert Dock’s Folk Festival – Folk on the Dock
Following on from the amazing success of the the first Folk on the Dock festival, this year is set to be even bigger and better.
Folk on the Dock showcase some of the very best of folk, roots and acoustic music there is. This free stage event draws perfomers from all corners of the folk scene, including Moulettes, Lee Southhall, Iron Fire and Wildwood Kin.

International Beatles Week
From the 23rd August until the 29th August Liverpool will become even more Beatles crazy than usual with a full week of Beatles events.
With 70 bands from over 20 countries and fans traveling from all corners of the globe the Liverpool Beatles Week Festival is sure to be the best on record. With venues across the city including The Cavern, Royal Court, Alma De Cuba, St. George’s Hall and the Adelphi Hotel for late night parties and the Annual Beatles convention, your never going to run out of things to do and bands to enjoy.

This exhibition at the Museum of Liverpool provides us with a new glimpse in to the times of this famous Liverpool band. With 30 new images, the exhibition captures the warmth, energy and humour of band on their rapid rise to fame.
In just 18 months the band had six British top ten hits and were the first act ever to reach number one in the UK singles charts with their first three releases.
